Congratulations on your acceptance into the Harris Road Beginning Band. We have a very busy and exciting year planned for this group. This page is where you can go to look up important information, print documents, check the calendar, and double check what's due. I highly recommend saving it to your favorites and checking it often.

What do I need the first week of school: 

You should all have received your welcome letters via email which outlines your

required and recommended supplies. If you have not received this email, please

contact me as soon as possible.

On the first day of school you will need the following: 

• Black 1in binder with clear cover on the front for your personalized insert

• Pencil

For the rest of the week, you will need: 

• Your band binder

• pencils

• highlighters

• instrument in good working condition (see welcome letter)

• your instrument cleaning supplies

• both method books

  • Essential Elements Book 1 for your instrument​​

​

 

 

Storing of instruments: 

Our band room is equipped with an instrument storage room. When students arrive in the morning, they will bring their instruments to the storage room and leave them for the duration of the school day. All instrument cases must be clearly marked with your student's name and grade level. Unmarked cases will not be allowed in the storage room.
